C2-3 A Solar Energy Combined with Wind Energy Vehicle

Abstract

This topic is mainly combined with wind power and solar power generation. The wind turbine and solar panels are installed on the vehicle. The wind turbine with a power generation capacity of 400W is used. The solar panel power generation capacity is 100W, and two pieces are installed on the top of vehicle.
The principle of solar panel power generation is a power generation method that uses solar cells to absorb sunlight of a wavelength of 0.2 μm to 0.4 μm and converts light energy directly into electrical energy. The solar cell absorbs sunlight and transmits it through p-type semiconductors and n-type semiconductors. The electron (negative electrode) and the hole (positive electrode) simultaneously separate the electrons from the hole to form a voltage drop, which is then transmitted to the load via the wire.
Wind energy is converted by wind turbines, while wind turbines primarily generate electricity by rotating the blades by air flow (ie, wind). The rotor is one of the most important systems for wind turbines to convert and utilize wind energy. The blades are locked to the hub to form an impeller, which is rotated by the aerodynamic force (including lift and resistance) of the wind to extract the kinetic energy of the wind. It is then converted into useful electrical energy.
The main topic is to measure the amount of electricity that wind power can combine with solar energy, and to apply it to the wind power vehicle. When the wind power vehicle is driven to the beach or in the open space on a sunny day, the ultraviolet light is used to measure the ultraviolet intensity at that time, and then the wind speed is measured. Then, the voltage and current are measured to obtain the amount of power generated, thereby obtaining the data required for the experiment. Then through the assembly of Arduino, the waste of manpower is saved, so as to facilitate acceptance and data.
